Finding Focus, Part II

A couple weeks ago I wrote about finding focus in my life. I have so much I want to accomplish, but I  need to tackle one thing at a time to really make an impact. Yet, even after writing that post, distractions got the best of me and kept me from doing any real work. I was in a church play that ended on Easter, so the rehearsal and performance schedule took up a bit of my time. However, it didn't take up ALL of my time, so what did I do with the rest of it? Well, for one, I worked out pretty much everyday. While that's good and will get me to my goal weight of 105 lbs, it won't write a business plan!

So I know what I have to do: eliminate distractions! If I'm going to launch this venture by the end of the summer, I have to let the non-essentials go. I have to become a producer, not a consumer. That means the television must stay off (sorry Housewives, but the drama must be shut out!). It also means I must make progress each and EVERY day.

To keep me honest, I'm going to post my goals for the next three months here. On August 1st, I'm going to come back to this post and see where I am. Of course I'll update you along the way, and I'll admit I need support! The days are long, yet time is short and I must keep my motivation up! Feel free to join me on this journey with your 3-month goals, we'll encourage each other!

May - July Goals:
1. Lose 15 lbs to finally weigh 105 lbs again :)
2. Complete my business plan and launch my entrepreneurial venture
3. Run three 5Ks

My main goal to accomplish is to launch this venture. The other two are extremely important to me and will simply become a part of my daily routine. Let's go!
